Terms & Conditions


A deposit and completed and signed Registration Form (will be sent to you) are required to reserve a place for you on a Photo Safari Turkey.



All prices are quoted in Euro. Payments may be transferred in US dollars as long as the euro/dollar exchange rate is determined by the Photo Safari Turkey.

The transfer fees occurring from the SWIFT banking system will be netted from the initial amount transferred.


Cancellation by the Customer

We must receive written (digitally also accepted) notice of your cancellation. There are no exceptions or special conditions applied concerning the cancellation by the customer. Simply a written notice is enough.

Cancellations by the customer prior 61 days (or earlier) of Tour Departure Date.

the Photo Safari Turkey will reimburse the full amount received by the customer including the deposit.

The customer will bear the SWIFT systems’ fees/costs.

Cancellations by the customer prior 60 days (or later) of Tour Departure Date.

Tour DEPOSIT are non-refundable and non-transferable, if a cancellation occurs by the customer prior 60 days of Tour Departure Date.

The rest of the amount (except the deposit) sent by the customer will be transferred to the customer through banking system within 3 business days.

The customer will bear the SWIFT systems’ fees/costs.

Cancellation by the Photo Safari Turkey

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop because of inadequate enrollment that makes the trip economically infeasible to operate, or because of good-faith concerns with respect to the safety, health, or welfare of the participants. We are not responsible for any refund for airline tickets, hotel accommodation etc. purchased by the participant.  In case of  a  cancellation occurring by Photo Safari Turkey, the Photo Safari Turkey will reimburse the full amount received from the customer within 3 business days including the deposit, and the costs/fees paid by the Customer during the transfer due to SWIFT system.


Leaving a workshop in progress, for any reason whatsoever, will not result in a refund, and no refunds will be made for any unused portions of a workshop. 


Photo Safari Turkey tours/workshops are within the capabilities of average people in good health. Some of these trips require the capability of walking for several miles over uneven trails, stepping from a small boat to a wave-washed rocky beach, flying in small planes and helicopters, and occasionally hiking at high elevations—all while carrying an assortment of camera equipment. If you have concerns about your own capabilities and/or fitness as it relates to a trip, please inquire with our office before reserving a space. By forwarding a signed Registration Form and trip deposit, you certify that you do not knowingly have any physical or other conditions of disability that would create a risk for you or other trip participants and you agree to inform our office in writing if changes in your health occur any time prior to the tour.  Once a trip has been confirmed, medical circumstances will not be considered as exceptions to our cancellation policy. We will buy a general travel insurance, which covers your trip in Turkey within the scope of insurance. Other than that we cannot assume any responsibility for medical care or for special dietary requirements. “Meatless” meals are normally available at most locations.

Tour members are asked to refrain from smoking with or near the group.


Photo Safari Turkey shall not be held liable for (a) any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider; and (b) any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government or any subdivision or agent thereof, or by acts of God, strikes, fire, flood, war, rebellion, terrorism, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond their control. The participant waives any claim against Photo Safari Turkey and/or its designated tour operator and tour administrator for any such loss, damage, injury, or death. Photo Safari Turkey and its designated tour operator and tour administrator shall not be liable for any air carrier’s cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a non-refundable ticket to or from the participant’s Photo Safari Turkey workshop departure city. It is the sole responsibility of the participants to organize their own transportation to and from the meeting point as described in the workshop itinerary, e.g. airport, hotel, and to ensure timely arrival. The participant should not book flights and/or hotel accommodation until Photo Safari Turkey have issued final confirmation for the workshop. In the event of late arrival it is the responsibility of the participant to join the workshop, and to carry all associated expenses. Photo Safari Turkey is not liable if the participant misses any portion of, or the entire workshop as a result of the delay. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the responsibility of the participant. Other: Other terms and conditions may apply to some workshops, and details will always be provided with pre-trip mailings. By making the deposit payment, the participant agrees to the responsibility statement and the terms and conditions herein on behalf of all the individuals included in the reservation.
